THE CATFLAP CHINWAG WITH...
Manish Bhasin
Everyone in media must be happy to see the return of King Kev?
I've got to say I thought when Mourinho left we were slightly deficient on the real characters in management in the Premier League, because he always came in with great quotes. So to fill in that void Keegan stepped in, ok he's not exactly like Mourinho but if he can still come up with those quotes we've all heard him say before, it'll liven things up again. That can only be great. Whether it'll end in tears I don't know, it doesn't look to good at the minute mind.
It's not good at Liverpool either. Rafa recently said he thinks winning the Champions League is harder than the Premier League. Has he finally lost it?
Yeah I do! I just think the fact that Liverpool fans have seen him win the Champions League he's already a figure in their hearts, but Liverpool fans still yearn for that first title in 18 years, and they still want that and they'll want it next year. Just the way he's handled the situation with not playing Torres in every game when he's clearly their best player, and that they're something like 17 points off the top, it seems quite similar to this time last season where he rotated himself out of the title race.
Will the BBC last the season without upsetting more managers?
(Laughing) Well the funny thing is, when Harry Redknapp was favourite for the Newcastle job, I for one thought, when are we ever going to get to speak to a Newcastle manager?! Then Kevin's obviously in and he's got no axe to grind with us thankfully so we're ok with the Newcastle situation so, I think we'll be fine! I really don't know if Fergie will ever speak to us again before he retires, I seriously hope he does!
If you could interview anyone who would it be?
Sir Alex Ferguson!
Finally what non-sporting shows would you like to present?
I'd love to have a go at Have I Got News For You. I would get slated to bits! Oh and Top Gear, put that down!
