MATHEW HORNE

He's been in more top shows than someone who hasn't appeared in as many as him. There's Teachers, Roman's Empire, The Catherine Tate Show and, of course, the award-winning Gavin & Stacey. He is MATHEW HORNE and before you ask, no he doesn't speak Icelandic...

 

You're from Nottingham. How did you end up being a Spurs fan?

My dad offered to buy me a football kit for Christmas when I was seven. He rather diplomatically asked me which team's strip I wanted, and so I went to my Panini '86 sticker album and chose the Tottenham strip, and that was it, really.

 

What was your first game?

It would have been Spurs v Forest. I went along to see Spurs at the City Ground when Forest were in the top flight. I can't actually remember when it was, but I think Forest won 3-2.

 

Who's your favourite all-time Spurs player?

Paul Gascoigne.

 

Favourite manager? George Graham, perhaps?

Err... no! It's Juande Ramos!
